Semaphore Uniting Church, its halls and kitchen are available for hire. Our facilities are available for weddings and commitment ceremonies, engagement parties, corporate events, fundraisers, birthday parties, meetings and other functions.
The church building is large enough to seat 150-200 people. There are two large halls available for use – one with carpet and the other with a polished wood floor. The carpeted hall is large enough to seat 100 people comfortably. The polished wood hall is excellent for dancing.
NB: For insurance reasons, bouncy castles and other inflatables are not permitted.
Our fully equipped kitchen is also available for hire and can be used by catering companies.

WEDDINGS AND COMMITMENT CEREMONIES
Semaphore Uniting Church has a romantic atmosphere ideal for weddings and commitment ceremonies, which can be performed by our minister.
We are pleased to announce as of Saturday September 29, 2018 we will be able to celebrate same gender weddings at our church. We fully support and uphold the right of two people who love each other to enter into marriage with the blessings of God.

The cost for a wedding is $900 dollars and includes all fees for the ceremony.
A $150 deposit is requested for wedding or commitment ceremony hire.

Seeds of Affinity
Seeds of Affinity meets in the middle hall at Semaphore Uniting Church on Tuesdays from 10.00am-3pm and Fridays from 11am-3pm. Seeds of Affinity is an inspiring group of women who have experienced incarceration and who are taking a new path by supporting one another, learning life skills and sharing their experiences and wisdom with others while finding self healing. The women also participate in activities and lovingly craft handmade beauty products and gift packs.

Alcoholics Anonymous
AA meetings are held at Semaphore Uniting Church on Thursdays at 2pm and Sunday nights at 6pm.
Al-Anon
Al-Anon meets on Saturday mornings from 10:30am to 12 noon.
Teaching classes
Classes on a variety or subjects are offered at Semaphore Uniting Church throughout the year. Information will be included on the Events Calendar as it becomes available.
